Hello there ๐
Today I have a slightly shorter post, my life here during the week with work, eating in the evening and walking around Suzhou a bit has become routine.
On the weekend, I was in Shanghai for the first time, once again with my roommates from the Suzhou WG and my roommate from Friedrichshafen. I think anyone else would have been fascinated by the city, but for me, during the day, it was just a big city with too many people ๐ I went up the Shanghai Tower, which is currently the second tallest building in the world and has the fastest elevator, quite impressive and something you have to do somehow, but I somehow prefer the view from a mountain into the valley ๐ In the evening, the city gained some charm, and the skyline at night was really beautiful. We also went to a slightly more upscale rooftop bar, with an outstanding view and super expensive cocktails, but it was worth it ๐ Later on, we moved on to a club, also a bit more fancy, and normally there is a shark swimming in the club, but unfortunately we didn't see it... Probably it has been turned into fish soup ๐
Oh yeah, I also went to the Fake Market, but if I had been alone, I would have been out in 30 seconds ๐ absolute disaster, but good for fake bargains, you just have to deal with the people there, but that's way too stressful for me ๐
Suzhou is a bit smaller and more pleasant compared to Shanghai since there are not as many people despite the millions of inhabitants...
Greetings Lena ๐
