Short trip to Akaroa

Akaroa is the only French town in the Banks Peninsula.

Our plan was to do some nice hiking there, but unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate. The drive there was quite nice, but in the evening it started to get cloudy and then it started raining. We couldn't do much. In the morning, we got a coffee, talked to the people in town and got some great tips on where we might find a job. After that, we drove back to Christchurch.

By the way, something we haven't told you yet....

We bought a car!!!! :D:D:D:D:D

To be precise, a Honda Odyssey converted into a campervan. We took out the back seats and put in a bed. It's a bit tight, but it works :D
