In the morning, we will be spending time "moose watching". The moose park is very lovingly and generously designed. The SEK 100 entrance fee per person is well spent. Since we are coming during feeding time, we can experience these impressive animals up close and even pet them. The antlers are currently growing, and the two stubs feel very warm and soft. According to the park manager, they grow 2 cm every day 😳. They shed their antlers every year and then grow new ones.
We will spend a good hour on a "moose safari" and then continue to Kalmar. Kalmar is truly beautiful, with its Baroque castle and beautiful old town. But right now, we are hungry. From our travel guide, we have the tip for a Thai restaurant with a lunch buffet 🙏. For SEK 110 all-you-can-eat, including drinks! And even though the place looks a bit, let's say, "unremarkable" from the outside: It was super, super tasty. That peanut sauce - divine! After the meal, Britta grinned almost as contently as the Buddha in the last photo 😊
