Forgotten Highway the second

The night was cold and we snuggled up in our camper van. After a small breakfast for the first time in the camper, we continued on the highway. However, 12 km were dirt road, the rest was rather narrow mountain road.

We took in rainforest, jungle trails, and fantastic views on this day. In between, we visited Hobbit's hole, greeting Lord of the Rings! Our destination for this day was Lake Taupo, where we had a great view.
