I had planned to reach the Danube after two days of travel, so on September 27th I cycled a total of 125 km from Löwenstein to Donauwörth. The route over the Alb was challenging but very beautiful! For long stretches, I could also follow the Kocher-Jagd-Radweg. I arrived at the campsite in Donauwörth in the dark and while hastily setting up the tent, the first pole broke... Lesson learned! (hopefully). There were two Swiss people at the campsite who were rowing on the Danube for part of the way. A nice idea too!
