Stage 1: From Heidelberg to Löwenstein

On September 26th, we finally started! First, we relaxed along the Neckar River, accompanied by Marco and Alex. Alex even rode with me until Heilbronn. That's when I had to use my rain gear. Later, I quickly realized that there's a difference between cycling with or without luggage uphill... The first hills of the Löwenstein Mountains really took a toll on me. Originally, I wanted to make it to Wüstenrot, but it was getting dark in the woods. I even briefly lost my phone, so I had to search the forest path in the twilight for a few hundred meters. The tour could have ended quickly! I set up my tent on a clearing in the forest. Overnight, some slugs found their way between the outer and inner tent. All in all, a successful start!
