Olympus and Meteora

Tuesday 11.7. - Wednesday 12.7.

Dusan, who we meet at the hostel, invites us to go to Olympus with him.

From Prionia, it's 1000 meters of altitude to Refuge A, the hut where we will sleep.

After a little break, we continue another 800 meters to the summit. (I go until Sarranda - or something similar, Patrick until Mytikas)

Back at the hut, we have a great evening with 3 Greeks (Athina, Nicky, and Konstantinos) and an Italian (David).

The next day we drive 170 km to Meteora.

It's extremely hot and we stroll around a bit and visit a monastery.

Great rock formations, great views, but that's about it.
