Forgotten World Highway

From Taranaki National Park, take the Forgotten World Highway to Tongariro National Park. Curve after curve, along Highway 43.

Whangamomona Hotel - the center of the small town of Whangamomona. This ghost town is an independent republic. At the hotel, you can get an entry stamp in your passport. 😅

Außer am Hotel könnte man denken, daß ihr ganz allein seid. Habt ihr eine Stempel geholt? 😉

Es waren auch nicht so viele Menschen auf diesem Highway unterwegs. Einen Stempel haben wir nicht geholt (wir wollen Komplikationen bei Ein- oder Ausreise in ein anderes Land vermeiden).
