New Year's Eve we spent in Christchurch.

Happy New Year!


Here are some impressions of Christchurch.

The city is still under reconstruction after the 2011 earthquake.

After the earthquake, the 'Re:start Mall' was created from containers. Here you can find small boutiques, post office, bank, food, and much more.



Historic Tram.

The Christchurch Farmers Market is also highly recommended. There are many delicacies.


Of course, there was also Flat White (the best coffee drink in New Zealand)!


Very quickly, we had enough of the hustle and bustle of the big city and escaped to Akaroa, a small town with a French influence.
