Im Bukhansan National Park

The Bukhansan National Park can be easily reached by metro and offers a great view of Seoul from its highest peak (836m). Just like everywhere around the city, you can find a lot of hidden Buddhist sites in the forest here, such as the 24m tall statue of the golden Buddha, which is the largest of its kind in East Asia and is said to protect the surrounding region from harm.
