In Iron Lion Park, there is a statue of Lin Chong. He is one of the heroes of the classic Chinese novel 'The 108 Water Margins' ('水浒传'). In this story, various heroes fight against corrupt officials and soldiers of the rulers. Lin Chong is a military trainer of 800,000 imperial guard troops and is pursued by the court official Gao Qiu. He had to go into exile in Cangzhou, where he was also pursued and later expelled from there to Liangshan. The statue in Iron Park depicts him as a wandering refugee. Although Lin Chong is a fictional character in the novel, he resembles General Zhang Fei at the end of the Han Dynasty.
