26.07.2019: On the other side of Lake Baikal

Until noon there was free time, which we used to climb the local ski mountain (approx. 400 meters vertical ascent). Here you can find everything a skier's heart desires, including après-ski. After all the sitting on the bus, it felt good to move our tired bodies again.

The next stop is about 200 km around the lake in Listvyanka. The village is located on the west side of the lake at the 1 km wide outlet of the Angara River. This place is the actual tourist center. Yeltsin and Kohl met here once.

We are staying at the "Legend of Baikal" directly on the lake. This time we lucked out with a suite during room allocation (always very exciting, as there is no logic to it).
