Hoi An

In the afternoon, we flew to Da Nang. We were all a bit out of sorts - but our recommendation for further journeys in Vietnam is definitely to take the plane. 1.5 hours flight for 65€.

For shorter distances, we always used Grab - it works incredibly well and hardly costs anything. Example: Da Nang Airport to the hotel in Hoi An (30km - 50min - for 15€)

The hotel was iHome in Hoi An - highly recommended. Also, just for budgeting perspective - for three of us, we paid 23€ (for all) including a great breakfast buffet. I booked everything through Booking and we usually found really clean accommodations for under 1,000,000 dong (around 10€ per person with breakfast!).
