Tag 2

After a relatively restful night, my alarm rang at 05:30 am😱 A small group of us volunteers left at 6 am to the Bush Camp (15 minutes away) to watch the sunrise from the pool.

Afterwards, we had breakfast and then we started with the activities. We were told to bring a lot of drinks because we will be out all day and won't be able to have lunch at the Sanctuary. And as it turns out, I didn't have much luck with the group distribution. After the experience with the horse heads, today we spent 3 hours weeding in the sun. But we were lucky because the car was needed in the afternoon, so we got around for a few more hours.

After lunch, we went to the horses and cleaned the bridles and then groomed the horses (finally contact with living animals🤣)

Tomorrow we will probably go to K9 training with dogs😍
