Sydney - Day 2, harbour cruise

I know, I'm a bit behind. I'll try to report more regularly again! 🙈

Addendum 24.02.

We got up at 6 o'clock for our Blue Mountains trip. According to our travel agent from New Zealand, he had booked it.

Well, unfortunately we were on time at the pickup point and none of the bus drivers had us on the list. 🎉

The friendly concierge, in front of whose hotel we were supposed to be picked up, made a phone call in response to our question whether another bus with a half-hour delay would come, with the company. It turned out that our trip is open-dated, so we didn't have a fixed booking, but there would be two seats available tomorrow. Instead of sitting comfortably in an air-conditioned bus and driving through a national park at a pleasant 32 degrees Celsius, we had to spend the day in the noisy, construction-ridden Sydney.

After a two-hour harbour cruise, during which we got an impression of how big the 5 million inhabitants of Sydney really are, we ended up in Hyde Park, near water fountains that cooled the air a bit.

The conclusion of our day was again at the harbour. On a bench overlooking the opera house and finally on the steps of it, we enjoyed the pleasant shade.

After that, we went to bed early because we had to get up early again the next day for the Blue Mountains.
