Golf da Luz 4th part

Praia da Luz 26.2.22 10 p.m.

Mike, the team captain of our home club GC Hochstatt, is also staying in Luz. He and Chris brilliantly organized 5 golf rounds here in the area. Golfing on the Algarve is quite expensive, but it's still pre-season and the guys always managed to get us great prices.

The golf clubs are all super fancy, the clubhouses are very glamorous, and the members reside in luxurious villas along the fairways. The membership clientele consists of retired European industrial captains, tax jugglers, or, at best, a combination of both.

After a day of playing, you can enjoy a glass of white wine and maybe some oysters in the evening sun at the clubhouse.

My sports record was at least that I won more drinks than I lost. Thanks to the guys for their efforts - it was amazing.

Today I have to leave the resort, but nobody would notice anyway, so I'm staying here tonight. We just grilled some sole, we have to finish the rest of the wine. The Rallafornia is finally packed properly, tomorrow we're heading to Gibraltar.

Actually, I wanted to get a surfboard tattooed on my six-pack, but I'll do it next year.
