11th Day Mui Ne

In Mui Ne, the alarm clock rings at 4 o'clock in the morning. The son of our hostel mother drives us to the white sand dunes in his jeep so that we can enjoy the sunrise there.

With our feet buried in the still cool fine sand, the sky slowly turns color.

As it gets bright, we climb the red sand dunes, which are closer to the city and therefore more crowded but unfortunately also a bit polluted. It is slowly getting warm and we are glad that we are walking through the sand in the morning and not in the blazing heat.

Back in Mui Ne, the fishermen are just returning from their morning catch and they drop off their goods on the beach.

There is really everything you can find in the sea.

To conclude the morning trip, we wade through the water of a small stream, which is framed by red rock formations in a kind of miniature Grand Canyon. A very relaxing way to take a walk.
Then we go swimming in the sea and get a little sunburn before the bus picks us up in the afternoon for the trip to Da Lat in the 1500-meter-high mountain region.
