Due to constant rain, we stayed at the campsite. On Friday, 02.12. we visited the nearby Ria Formosa Nature Park (beautiful lagoon). It was a 4 km walk through there. There wasn't much to see, but we didn't get wet. The information center showcased the special nature of the lagoons with the salt marshes (see photo) and the different, some endangered species. There was also a tide mill that was not well maintained. Overall, we still have the impression that Portugal is not well cared for. The roads are broken, there is a lot of trash around, many buildings need renovation.
On the 3rd of December, it only rained, so it was a lazy day in the motorhome.
On the 4th of December, it rained predominantly. It was only possible to take a short walk through the city. But there was a Christmas market and a huge hall (about 30 × 15 m) displaying landscapes of different countries (see photos). Despite the rain, it's still 17 degrees.
WE WISH EVERYONE A BEAUTIFUL 2ND ADVENT!!
