Day 18 - Castro & The Mission

Castro is the gay neighborhood and should be seen with the Mission during daylight.

I'm using Lonely Planet as my tour guide. We walk around and see things that you wouldn't see otherwise.

We also see a lot of homeless people, and I give a dollar to some of them when it becomes unbearable. An old man sings and plays weird guitar next to graffiti about high rents in the capitalist system in an alley next to car paint shops. (According to the tour guide, there are vacant apartments in SF!).

For lunch, we have steak and then we want to take the Cable Car, but we're already a bit slow on our third day in the city.

After waiting for a while, we finally get on and are allowed to hang out outside, which I think is the best spot. It was definitely worth it, even though only tourists do it.

Afterwards, we have one last coffee and say goodbye.

In the afternoon/evening, I drive over the Golden Gate Bridge to the Marin Headlands. I need to cool off from the City..
