So dear ones, yesterday I was so exhausted that I had to postpone writing until today. So I was in Millpu on day 5. The Millpu Pools are a series of natural turquoise pools in the countryside of Ayacucho, Peru. They are fed by glacial water and lie at an altitude of 3600 meters above sea level. At the beginning of the trip I had booked, I was, in typical German fashion, pretty pissed off. I had booked with pickup and an English-speaking guide. Neither was the case, then I called and asked where I was staying, well then someone came. Arrived... travel guide in Spanish... well, it comes from there too. He was also ticked off because they had to wait for me. He couldn't have known. I got on the bus, drove for 3.5 hours with serpentines, S-curves, up and down hills, I felt so sick. I had to get out of my comfort zone, I had to speak Spanish. So it wasn't so bad after all :). Once we got there we had to walk about 30 minutes to the pools. But it was also worth it. Something so beautiful. What nature can come up with is fantastic. Plus waterfalls. The group on the bus was quite funny, I was somehow interesting. Traveling alone, as a woman and also German. I would have liked to cancel the return trip, but unfortunately it didn't work. At 7:00 p.m. we were back in Ayacucho, my face was green again. I wanted to go to my bed. And what can I say...I was looking forward to tomorrow
