04 to Watzelhain

Weather: Contrary to the forecast, the weather today was much better than expected. Only occasionally did I experience light rain for about 30 minutes. Otherwise, it was dry, although often with headwinds.

However, I encountered another problem: there were often construction sites along the way that blocked my designated route and led to detours. However, I always managed to find my way back, but it added an additional 7 km. In total, I covered 109 km. Due to the challenging terrain towards the end, I consumed a lot of power and 300 m before my destination, the motor stopped working and I had to push the bicycle up the hill.

Fortunately, I was warmly welcomed by my long-time friend, in whose house I am staying today. I will only briefly write my daily report in the meantime, as I am expected for dinner in the main house. Therefore, today's report is a bit short. Instead, take a look at my photos and my route, which was once again varied and exciting.
