Our destination for today was the mountain town of Da Lat. Since we knew it was a relatively long distance to drive, we set off early. The roads became more and more curvy and the traffic decreased. It was really fun to drive on the curvy mountain roads and highlands. Along our route, we took a detour to a waterfall. Just before reaching the waterfall, we took a short coffee break. When we arrived at the entrance to the waterfall after the break, we were surprised to find out that the entrance fee was about 8 Euros. That was too much just to see a waterfall, so we turned around. Shortly after, it started pouring rain and we turned right to take shelter. During the transition from the road to the gravel path, Markos slipped and fell, damaging one of my two lenses (for now, only wide-angle shots are possible). We lost almost an hour because of the rain, so we decided to look for a hotel in the next city, Bao Loc.
There, we tried unsuccessfully to find a camera store for repairs. However, we found out that there are several camera stores in Da Lat. While looking for the store, we passed by a church. The influence from the French colonial era is clearly visible in this city. To end the day, we treated ourselves to pizza and watched the DFB-Pokal final in the middle of the night.
