Tag 109: back to the mainland and onto the motorbike

Today we had an early breakfast (6:45 am) as we had to go back to the boat that would take us back to the mainland. After waiting for what felt like forever, we reached our boat again and sailed back to Ha Long. On the way there, we learned how to make Vietnamese spring rolls. Upon arrival at the harbor, we were picked up again and taken back to our hostel. There, we quickly packed our motorbikes and set off for Ninh Binh. After about 150km and 4 hours of driving, we reached our homestay, which is located in the middle of small mountains by a river. There, we had a cozy dinner outside and enjoyed the peace and tranquility of this dreamlike environment.
