The most beautiful café in Islands

Today we were at the definitely most beautiful café in Hvammstangi, Islands. After a very fast ride this morning with Cassandra, Maya, and Erla, I think we've never been faster on our route before. But it was great for everyone, and Cassandra even dared to gallop, which was really amazing. After taking care of the horses at the stable, we took a few first pictures of Dagrun - more will surely follow - and then the three of us girls quickly took Magnus' car and drove to Hvammstangi. Cassandra didn't know Kitka (the wool shop) yet, so she took the opportunity to go shopping there. After a quick stop at the supermarket - I urgently needed something sweet and some fresh vegetables for a snack - we went to the café. I would love to have this café near us - I haven't seen something so charming and beautiful in a long time. The seating consists partially of old sofas, old sewing machines, a collection of teacups, old irons, toys, handicrafts, funny lamps, and much more, all attached to the walls or displayed on small shelves for decoration purposes. And there was also a delicious rhubarb cake with whipped cream to go with my double espresso, which I'm still raving about. All the cakes for sale are freshly made daily, right in the kitchen behind the counter. The whole café smells of homemade cake.
