Come on, let's go to the Gili Islands.

Yesterday I had booked the transfer to the Gili Islands. I wanted to go in the afternoon, but later I was informed that the ferry only goes in the morning. Well then. Transfer at 06:30 a.m. already. I felt really sick on the speedboat. I shouldn't have been on my phone. It was torture and when I arrived, I had to sit down and regain my composure first.

I had discovered a 4-day boat tour to the Komodo Islands. I thought about it back and forth. Finally, I felt really sick after a 1.5-hour ride. When I asked, they told me that this tour is currently not taking place due to the high waves and the high risk in the rainy season. So, that's the end of this boat tour.

After last night in my own room, I wanted to move to a hostel and meet people. But it was deserted. Only a local person in the room and no one else around. Hmm... Then I biked around the island with the hostel's run-down bike for two hours.

The next day I managed to convince myself to do some exercise again. The goal is always 6 km in 30 minutes. But I missed it by far. It was way too hot for that. After three km, I could hardly continue. But at least I did something. I rewarded myself with two scoops of ice cream, but then they fell on the ground due to too much tilt. A couple showed sympathy. But the Swabian in me didn't give up, picked up the scoops, wiped off the dirt, and enjoyed the ice cream again. After a while at the beach, I went back to the hostel, the sky became cloudy and it rained shortly after. Then I used the time to make phone calls with friends in Germany.
