Good morning,
We finally find time. When it's 30 degrees you have to motivate yourself to write ;) best wishes to snowy Germany :)
We started the day relaxed. I got breakfast for us and the ferry tickets to Ibanez. Everything is easy with hands and feet and pointing and Google. Top!
Once again, fruit was out of the question - but liver sausage. But this time there was tea sausage 😀
After refreshment, we moved to the viewpoint, which revealed the entire coast and city. 200 steps ey ey ey. Afterwards we strolled through the cute and quiet town. We sat for a long time at a beautiful spot on the lake and moved along the coastline. In the late afternoon we had wraps with chicken - without salad of course 😞
In the evening we spent a cozy evening with a German couple and just relaxed. The hostel operator joined us and gave us lots of tips. He always called me Franz - because I look and behave like his German friend Franz.
The hostel operator took us to the ferry at 7:30. How genius. 3 km saved :)
We arrived in Puerto Ibanez around 10 a.m. Make a quick phone call to grandma and go to the hostel. Quickly unload your luggage and leave. The hostel manager from Chile Chico said he would take a taxi. Walk back. Clear. We do. Wait a moment. Not a single car drives in the village. Shit😱 well 7 kilometers isn't that far. A tour. Then 🚶♂️ we stop and flag down a car... After 6 kilometers the first car 🚗 came that could have given us a lift. But we'd rather walk the kilometer. Said and done. After 90 minutes we were there. What a force. Even far away you got wet. One of the most beautiful things we could see. We bravely walked to the very front over an easy course through bushes, stones and loose sand. What a loud noise. We stayed here longer and enjoyed it. Back we had the same idea - hitchhiking. Not a single car. What rubbish.
We now had 25 kilometers on the clock. We grabbed two pieces of bread and porridge and took a quick shower. Super hot. Finally!
And then we went to bed. KO
It was great.
It continued at 11 a.m. Flights were booked. Shuttle ordered. In extremely strong winds. Truly indescribable. Took the shuttle to Balmaceda. We were there around 2 p.m. We looked at the place. I screamed loudly once. Leverkusen scored in stoppage time. Thank you ❤️
There was a horse riding event in town. We watched from afar and then went to buy our dinner. Wraps with cream cheese and salt. The rest - priceless :(
We had good internet and watched 7 vs Wild, because with the wind it just wasn't nice outside. But we have to say, we've only had light rain a few times in Chile. And stop at the ferry :'D
The missing days follow ;)
Ciao Freddy
