West Coast USA - Day 21 - Departure from Los Angeles to New Zealand

The last day in the USA on our journey. We continued driving on Highway 1 and passed by the beautiful beaches of Malibu. Along the way, we even saw dolphins from a distance.

Around 5 pm, it was time to return the rental car and head to the airport. Jan almost had to pay money for a visa in order to leave the country because the person at the counter had no idea. But all's well that ends well, and the flight to Auckland departed with a one-hour delay (no, Jan wasn't at fault).
