Hi guys,
after a short internet break due to poor reception, I'm back today with a brief summary of the last two days!
Yesterday started exactly how I couldn't have imagined it more idyllically! We woke up to the sound of the sea, with pleasant warm rays of sunshine, and then started the day. To wake up, we enjoyed our first coffee of the day under a palm tree right by the sea!
We got ready slowly, had a leisurely breakfast, and then set off on the last leg towards the north.
After about 1.5 hours of driving, we made a quick stop at the supermarket.
Here we stocked up on the essentials and then made our way to the campsite. Just like the day before, this one was in a dreamlike location! In the middle of a reservoir, surrounded by tropical green mountain ranges, we spent our day here in nature, and surprisingly, even without cell phone reception, we had a wonderful day. We passed the time with "UNO" and "Skip-bo" and in the evening, enjoyed our dinner while overlooking the sunset behind the mountains.
Unfortunately, despite the great location, we both had a very restless night, so today turned out to be rather calm.
After leaving the campsite this morning, we went to the library, where we could charge our electronic devices again.
From here, we went straight to the next campsite because we had planned to mainly focus on job hunting today.
We chose a paid campsite, which is in a beautiful location in the middle of a tropical forest full of palm trees, a great place to spend the day doing research.
We applied for numerous jobs in all areas and directions.
Actually, this took up almost the entire day, and now we have to wait and see if our efforts pay off.
Tomorrow, we will visit "Airlie Beach," which we have heard a lot of good things about.
I will keep you updated!
Greetings from Preston, Australia!🇦🇺
Your Tim!😊
