Return to Bali (Jimbaran)

Yesterday we returned to Bali by boat. Since Jimbaran, our next stop in the south of the island, is located there, this was a long journey.

By boat, it took us nearly 4 hours to reach Bali again, as it was a bit delayed and we had to 'queue' for 40 minutes before a dock became available for us.

The crossing was wet and cheerful. The salty waves were splashing in our faces as it was very windy. We couldn't stand the rocking below deck and the air conditioning would have turned us into an ice block. :D

Arriving at the harbor all salty and wet, the chips of the vendors were practically thrown towards us onto the ship - what a welcoming committee...

Now it was time to pick up our luggage and head to the shuttle bus that would take us to Jimbaran. Fortunately, a taxi driver intercepted us and asked which part of Jimbaran we wanted to go to, and said that the shuttle with 4 additional stops in evening traffic would definitely take 4-5 hours before that.

We didn't think twice and took the taxi (fortunately, it's very cheap in Bali) and it only took us 2 1/2 hours.

Our accommodation here is very nice, idyllic, and above all, very cozy and nicely furnished!
