In Argentina, it continues north between a mountain ridge.
Here (and also on the Chilean side) the percentage of indigenous people is already higher, so one stands out with their skin color. However, the clouds stick to the Andes on the Argentine side, which is why it rains more and is greener here. The water systems in the cities and along the roads are interesting. It rains a lot in spring and the ice melts in the Andes. The desert here hardly absorbs any water, which is why the road is interrupted by concrete slabs every few kilometers, over which a small river flows. Since it rained with us, we inadvertently allowed our Egon to have many underbody washes.
In and around Salta, the landscape is characterized by beautiful rock formations. We didn't make much progress here because we had to stop to take a picture.
We also made a little stop at 'Cerro de los Siete Colores' (Hill of the seven colors) in Purmamarca.
