After exploring Alesund, a pretty town with Art Nouveau houses that was rebuilt after a fire, we continue to Geiranger. Once again, we are fascinated by the beautiful and diverse landscapes of Norway. We take the ferry to Eidsdal and drive down the serpentine roads to Geiranger. Upon arrival, we are met with a crowd of people. It's no wonder: the Costa cruise ship is anchored here, as well as another ship that we are unfamiliar with. It is bustling with people. I can only imagine what it must be like during peak season. For us, it is clear: one night and then we move on. We settle in the second row at the campsite and take a walk along the waterfall after dinner. We meet a friendly older Australian woman who is just as overwhelmed by nature as we are. Luna is doing great, she even climbed the stairs by the waterfall. And now I won't say too much more, just that Peter did a wonderful job driving, even though he doesn't like heights. And now let the pictures speak for themselves.
