Day 4: The Grand Canyon

ޝާއިޢުކޮށްފައިވެއެވެ: 03.08.2016

Today's report will be quite short. We were ready for breakfast at 7am this morning. It was an absolute joke, you could see through the coffee and the rest was nothing but not a big deal because there is food on every corner. So we left early and entered the Grand Canyon at 9:30am without any traffic or parking problems. Since thunderstorms and rain were forecasted for the afternoon, we wanted to make the most of our time until then. And we did, along with many other tourists from all over the world. It's amazing, if someone had told me earlier that I would one day stand in front of the Grand Canyon, I would have thought they were crazy. Now I'm standing at over 10 different viewpoints and can hardly put this natural wonder into words. Even the photos don't capture what you see in front of you. Apparently, there aren't any lenses specifically made for the Grand Canyon on the market yet.

Fortunately, it didn't rain but the sky is so cloudy that there won't be a sunset and probably no sunrise either. Very unfortunate, but I guess we'll survive.

Since the internet is terrible here, I will only upload 2 photos today and the larger selection will come as soon as better internet is available. I'll try it in the lobby tomorrow morning.

P.S. I have already uploaded half of my photo selection. The rest will come later ;-)

P.P.S. Two days later, all the selected pictures are online :-)
