Gangilonga Rock

Today there isn't much to report. It's a bit quieter in the flat, the German girls went on safari in the morning, the others had to work. So I used the day to explore the area and do some hiking.

Gangilonga Rock was my destination. So, as always, I took a tuk-tuk to the city center. (By the way, the journey takes about 10-15 minutes and costs 500 shillings, which is equivalent to 20-25 cents. You can afford this 'taxi' every day.) From there, I continued on foot.

It was a nice route that was rewarded with a great view. However, it also came with a sunburn 😅 (P.S.: You know me and my sensitive skin)

Despite applying sunscreen and wearing long clothing, the sun is simply too strong! But you have to start at noon, because the sun sets around 6 pm and it gets dark and cold very quickly! Last night: 7 degrees

We just had dinner, rice & sauce, now I'll call my brother and then my 6th day in Tanzania will come to an end!

Best regards! 🙋🏽‍♀️
