Ipanema

And right afterwards, in glorious sunshine, we wanted to get to know the beach of Ipanema. It is narrower than its famous brother, but is now considered the more fashionable one, the hotels and apartments on the promenade and the adjacent streets are accordingly expensive. There is also a cheerful bustle here, which is contagious....but unfortunately we couldn't find the much-sung beautiful Girl from Ipanema here either💃. It was probably busy devouring a giant hamburger with cola and a sugary cake afterwards. Unhealthy fast food can unfortunately be found on every corner. We also treated ourselves to a strong caipirinha or a cool beer, not exactly sensible for our already heated heads🙈😉🍹😋. But we still found the metro station and the way home😃.
