Dorrigo, Beach and Colors

The last week went by quickly. Leaving Hervey Bay we found a new home at our friend's, Flor's home.

Catching up with her enriched our trip! Together with her we went to the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, where we had a very close experience with Australias wildlife.

Finally, we started our campervan trip. For the first night we chose Lamington NP. Besides minor problems with our car - how do we get the gas stove started? - we foraged through the rainforest and observed the wildlife next to the campervan (birds, wallabies and so on).

Leaving Lamington the weather got wet and temporarily it got a little tight in our campervan - or how a campground receptionist described it: a very small motorhome.

We stopped in Ballina, visited happy Nimbin (little Hippi town) to end finally on a campground in Emerald Beach.

Alice loved the walks along the beach and Giselle had some tears because a cheeky Kookaburra stole her chocolate cookie.

The tears dried quickly, when we saw the Kangaroos feeding next to our campervan.

The next day we visited Dorrigo NP, a World Heritage Site with huge trees.

At night we slept on the marvellous nationalpark campground in South West Rocks.

Life cannot be much better. Our campsite was overlooking the bay, millions of stars covering the sky and a beautiful beach, suitable for kids, only 20 meters away.

After driving 500 Kilometer we reached a few hours ago Sydney and had a warm welcome at Wilson and his family.

Giselle immediatly was in dreams as she finally could wear an Elsa dress!
