Third trip to London

Last weekend on Saturday, I finally went to London again! Yay! So this was the third time I've been to London since I've been here.

First of all, we went shopping on Oxford Street and Regent Street again. What can I say, we are typical girls :D And as typical girls, we took our time, of course. Yes, you can easily spend 5 hours in this area of London without even entering every store! :D
After this (at least frugal) shopping spree, dusk slowly set in around 5 pm.

Which promptly led us to a new plan: to walk across the illuminated Tower Bridge in the dark and admire the shining banks of the Thames. That was definitely my favorite moment of the day. It had so much more magic than the Tower Bridge during the day! Really beautiful. I felt like I stopped every two meters to take photos so that I will remember this moment forever.

But we were far from done with London after this extensive walk! Next (and then also last ^^), we took a double-decker bus towards Covent Garden. That was really nice too, because when you ride the subway through London, you don't see all the beautiful corners waiting to be discovered around you!
Covent Garden is a pretty part of London, in my opinion. There are many theaters here that offer a variety of musicals - The Lion King, Mamma Mia, whatever your heart desires. By the way, on my birthday in March, I will be doing exactly that! Visiting the Mamma Mia musical in the evening at the Novello Theatre in London. I'm so excited!

Speaking of excitement... I can't believe that today marks exactly one month since I've been here. That means I still have four times as much time here as I have already experienced! Is that a lot? Good question. Probably in four months, it will feel like no time at all. But I fully intend to enjoy every moment here, and I must say that I've been successful so far. I'm so happy that I decided to take this leap.

Take care!

Yours,

Leonie
