After finally having a good night's sleep (single beds instead of 1.4m), we took a closer look at Cobh, formerly known as Queenstown and the last port the Titanic docked at before it sank to the bottom of the sea. Although there wasn't much to see there. We skipped the Titanic Museum and instead enjoyed a live organ performance at the cathedral.
Next, we visited the Jameson Distillery in Middleton for a tour and tasting. Even though we're not whiskey drinkers, being in Ireland, it's a must-try and surprisingly, it didn't taste too bad.
Our host Gem in Cork is extremely friendly and welcoming, she chatted with us a lot, greeted us with tea and pastries, and even provided us with bathrobes.
In the evening, on Gem's recommendation, we went to The Oliver Plunkett and made a reservation for the next evening. We'll be treated to Irish live music and a dance show.
There won't be an entry tomorrow. It's supposed to rain all day and we happened to stumble upon a spa earlier, so we decided to treat ourselves to a pampering session tomorrow.
