Salanti Day 2

What a beautiful day!

The rain from yesterday is forgotten. Sun, a gentle breeze, 26°, a poem of a calm bay - sooo beautiful that we wanted to stay here for another day.

And that's what we did. In the whole long bay there are about 10-12 motorhomes distributed loosely. The night was quiet (no barking from any dogs, no rooster crowing at 4 o'clock, no mosquitoes, no disturbing lamp...). We had an extremely clear night. Maybe it was because of the previous rain. We haven't seen so many stars in a long time. Unfortunately, I was too lazy to get out the tripod to photograph the Milky Way, but maybe I'll have another chance tonight.

We spent the day reading, walking, swimming, playing, and lounging. In between, a herd of sheep came to visit. If we had enough water and food supplies, we might stay another day. But after today's shower and hair wash, there's not much left in the tank. At least a baker came by around noon and provided the entire group with bread. There are no other options for shopping or dining nearby. So we will enjoy the warm summer evening once again and move on towards Epidaurus after breakfast tomorrow.
