The animals of Australia

I'm really afraid of snakes. I really don't want to see that at all. But I don't want to drive myself crazy. I decided to look carefully at the path, but not to look too closely to the left and right of the path: what I don't see isn't there! "You don't see them, but..." (they are there). Today we went out of the city into nature, a little tour through the forest. In nature there is rustling everywhere, mostly it's lizards running around or birds flying around and making a real noise, such as the bell miner, whose noises sound like chimes (you can also listen to that on YouTube etc). Once there was an iguana standing next to us, it was really big and I was really scared that the animal was too and quickly left. In the nearby discovery center you could look at Australia's animals, and that's where I saw them, my first kangaroos in Australia :), they were little wallabies that were hopping around the area. There was also an emu on the site that was running around freely and for whom we had great respect, and a very active wombat. It was really good to get out of the city and be out in nature...
