The sun at your back

I stayed here on the Great Ocean Road in a small hotel run by an older couple. It felt like I was welcomed straight into the family there. The owner greeted me and then immediately introduced me to his wife: “This is Katharina!”. The Australians are really nice - actually everyone I've met so far.

For breakfast I was allowed to ask for freshly prepared eggs and they were brought to me: "Here you go, Katharina. Enjoy it!" 🤩

After breakfast I went back to my room. There I made myself comfortable in my bed again and read - and fell asleep again 😀.

In the afternoon I go out to the beach. I sit on the sand and look south, the sun behind me. What confuses me the most is that the sun doesn't go over the south but over the north to the west. I have a very good sense of direction, but the position of the sun here confuses me. Especially if I don't know the area yet, I need a map to orientate myself. Just going any other way doesn't work for me here...
