Australia is somehow the country of superlatives:
And now today I was at the most famous beach in the world: Bondi Beach. The beach greets me stormily. There is a cold wind blowing and there are lots of waves. I don't want to swim here anyway: water too cold, air too cold! I'm standing here on the beach wearing 2 jackets, the warmest scarf and a scarf as a headband and I'm annoyed that I don't have the hat with me 😅.
There's a Bondi Icebergs Club - you can become a member if you've been swimming on Bondi Beach every Sunday for 4 years, regardless of the weather... It's definitely not for wimps like me...
Back in the city, I take the time to take a closer look at some of the buildings that I just walked past yesterday. I went back into the Queen Victoria Building and found a very special rarity in the basement: the German Bakery Lüneburg! How much I would have liked to have bought a loaf of bread here, but there is none left - everything is sold out! But there are still 2 multigrain carrot rolls and a few sweet pieces. The 2 rolls are now mine!
