The morning was calm again. I started around 9 o'clock. The other two had already started when I had breakfast by the river. After that, I also took a cat bath in the Danube. Unfortunately, I didn't have the courage for a full bath. I rode towards the Slovakian border, which I crossed using a newly built bicycle bridge. Along the border river March, I cycled 30km along beautiful riverside forests on the flood dam. It was deserted and I had plenty of space to enjoy. Back to Austria, I took the ferry across the March this time. From here, the extended catchment area of Vienna began, through which I slowly rode to the city center. Once again, I arrived at the Danube and cycled a bit out of town to Klosterbrunn to the campsite, where I treated myself to a shower, fries, and a wheat beer at the end.
The next day, I leisurely went to the city to the train station, where I started my journey home around 2 PM. The return trip with a transfer was torture. I traveled in the opposite direction of an ICE with an RB, which was hours delayed, and I eventually arrived in Mannheim around 2 o'clock at night....sad for this ending.
