23.08 Tange - Oslo 117km

A few clouds in the sky, the sun was shining so I set off again around half past 9. I wasn't sure if this would be my last section in Norway. The wind from the previous day had died down and I felt a lot of energy inside me that wanted to burst out. From the beginning of the route, all I could remember was a lot of concrete, E6 and the Trondheim-Oslo railway line. There were rarely any views of Lake Mjøsa. After 30km, I said goodbye to it, it had been my companion for 120km on my right. After 60km, during the break, I decided that 60km to Oslo were doable. Along the weather boundary, I slowly made my way through a rural region with many hills on parts of the pilgrimage path. The bike paths were very well signposted again, so finding my way into the city was no problem. 10km before Oslo, I also realized that these would be the last kilometers in Norway. I sang an inner triumph chant... But rejoiced too soon... 4km before reaching the hotel, I saw the first flashes of lightning over the city. 3km before reaching it, a heavy thunderstorm struck. I didn't take it personally and took another small break. Even in the city, nature determines the rhythm. The contrast between the city and the countryside was something I noticed... Traffic lights, not being able to freely urinate, many people on the streets. After the rain, the sun came out again and created a beautiful atmosphere for my final meters. I had booked one night's stay and left it open whether I would extend for another night. I don't really feel like celebrating yet. But I am proud as a pretzel bow.
