Pool day today? Looks like it, yes, we'll just go to the water. Before that, with a final physical and mental effort, we finally manage to take a picture of Shengfuillino , the young spy. But he kept me in check with the sound of gunshots. Thank God we didn't have to use the Sadam sugar and the Osama pen. This will certainly also help to keep the American troops that arrived yesterday (6 of them!) in check. Especially since I'm a master at making a turban out of a towel. This will help us take over the pool, I'm sure.

And that's how it is. At around 2:30 p.m. the Americans leave the pool, finally some peace and quiet. So we quickly go for a dip, phew, the rain hasn't exactly had a positive effect on the temperature. It's fresh, fresh. But bearable. Still warmer than the sea. Then it's off to the snack. Turbo salad, slightly inspired by Mr. JO. It was good, but due to the pleasant circumstances (weather, peace and quiet, atmosphere) the snack is naturally a little longer. No excessive drinking! Turbo and I then drive to Ponte a Bozzone and buy 3 nice pork chops, a red pepper, bread and 2 cafe al bar.

Afterwards we went to the pool, lazed around a bit in the evening sun and then ate and watched Italy and Bulgaria. Yes, the weather was a very nice day. Pool weather, after all. At first there were clouds and a bit of a fresh wind, then it was very nice, very warm, and the color on my upper body was coming on, yes.

In the evening we see the Italians eliminated, the winning goal in the last minute of injury time is of no use to them, as Sweden and Denmark draw 2:2. Definitely not a rigging. I mean that seriously. At the same time we eat the chops mentioned above, which turn out quite well in the pan with rosemary. They were just happy pigs. Only the peppers, also inspired by JO - burned over an open gas flame, then peeled - are not quite my taste. In the end they taste somehow burnt. No wonder.

Afterwards, Herbert and I look a little more at the fascinating starry sky, 1 satellite and a shooting star, that's it for today. We go to bed at around 11:30 or so. 2 bottles of wine spread over the day are very decent and healthy. The medlar schnapps not so much, but thank God we stick to a shot. And a grappa. So nothing bad, right?
