Sea Life and Chinatown

Today, due to the unpredictable weather, I stayed indoors first, specifically at the Sydney Aquarium...

Who knows if the Great Barrier Reef tour will happen, so I got to see a bit in advance. Namely, colorful fish, sharks, rays, poisonous jellyfish, and dugongs (manatees with a divided tail fin, in contrast to the manatees I've already seen in Florida). Everything was beautifully displayed and perfect for the weather.

After a snack, I strolled through Chinatown for a while, since my hotel is located there. And there are really the craziest shops and very cool restaurants with authentic Chinese cuisine from all different regional kitchens... something that is missing with us!

Later, I'll set off again and let myself wander through the alleys...

Tomorrow afternoon, I'll continue to Brisbane (once again a new time, because they don't have daylight saving time, so I'll be one hour closer to Germany, still 9 hours ahead).

But that's not until tomorrow evening... so until then, have a great start to the week!
