Queenstown III

First things first: I am definitely too old for an 8-bed dorm in a party hostel! It's an experience, it's doable, but some experiences only need three nights ;-)

The highlight was actually the first morning when, for inexplicable reasons, a guy let his alarm clock ring every fifteen minutes between 6 and 8 - a whopping 9 times! Snoozing at a world-class level.

But now for yesterday: starting the day with a Lammpie is one way to deal with a rainy day. I literally saved myself the 3.50€ ice cream ball. Otherwise, I strolled around and bumped into the Austrians again... in the evening, we went to the Irish Pub for Kilkenny and live music. After a few beers, they went to the campsite and I went to Fergburger, some things are irresistible!

The falafel variation is also very tasty, and I definitely contributed significantly to the room's aroma with all that aioli. The cat managed to squeeze through the closed balcony door, that rascal.

Now I'm heading to Dunedin today (after the Londoner still didn't understand me on the third try, I had to point at the word: it's pronounced 'Danieden') and please keep your fingers crossed!

I'll tell you tomorrow what for...
