Etappe 19 Col dei Baldi - Refugio Valozzer

I took the cable car to Col dei Baldi. The path led me to Forcella Alleghe and Rifugio Coldai through a beautiful landscape at the foot of the mighty Civetta massif. Then I climbed to Forcella Coldai. From here, there was a magnificent view of a small high valley with the picturesque Lago di Coldai. I took a break there and even went for a short swim. Afterwards, I enjoyed the idyllic Dolomite panorama. The view opened up to Monte Civetta with its impressive west wall. The main peak and its sub-peaks form a mountain range about 6km long with a gigantic rock wall up to 1000m high. Climbing enthusiasts love it here. Along the way, I had another beautiful view of Lago Alleghe and the city of the same name. I only briefly passed by Rifugio Tissi and then descended towards Refugio Valozzer, my destination for today. It was very pleasant to walk on a wide alpine meadow before reaching the final point on a gravel path.
