Welcome to Dunedin

Hello.

Upon arriving in Dunedin, we went straight to do some shopping and then went to the campsite. When we arrived at the campsite, we made ourselves something to eat and made a plan for what we can do and want to do in the next few days. One day, we explored the Peninsula, visiting everything from a beautiful castle to the albatross breeding colony and the blue penguins. This day was very exciting, beautiful, and tiring because it was also very hot! At our campsite, the kitchen and common room closed at 9 o'clock in the evening, which was very annoying... But we managed it ;)

The next day, we did some sightseeing in the city and treated ourselves to a delicious sub sandwich from Subway for lunch. The other days, we just relaxed and spent two consecutive days at the beach, which was only 10 minutes away from our campsite. The water in the sea is really cold, but it's very refreshing on such hot days. After these days, we got in touch with our host family, with whom we can work for the season. They said it would be good if we could be with them as early as possible, around December 4, 2017, which was only 2 more days.
