Our trip to Christchurch went very well and we had enough time to get a coffee (or so we thought). In the café, they even had a display board showing when and if a flight is landing or has already landed. It said that the boys' flight had not landed yet and is scheduled to land at 2:40 PM. Armed with our coffee, we left the café towards the airport at 2:30 PM, still thinking, 'Hey, it's only 10 minutes to the airport, so we'll arrive just in time when the flight lands, and we'll have plenty of time before the boys get their suitcases and go through security.' However... not quite at the airport yet, I received a message from my brother asking where we were because they had been there for 10 minutes already, waiting for us and wondering if they were at the right airport because no one was there :D When we finally arrived at the airport, they were indeed already there... Something like this can only happen to us :D Nevertheless, it was nice to have a bit of home here. I was very happy to see Johannes and Lukas. After the long flight, both were very exhausted. That's why we chose a campground only 30 minutes away from the airport. When we arrived at the campground, we set up our things and prepared everything for sleeping, and then we went for a walk to the beach, which was only a 5-minute walk from the campground. After dinner and a shower, everyone went to bed early. The next few days will be very exciting and tiring. The goal for the next 3 weeks, while the two of them are here, is to see as much as possible of both islands. Daniel and I were most excited to see Abyee and Paul, the owners of the sheep farm, and Ross and Belinda from the berry farm again. It's nice to show Johannes and Lukas where we have worked and what the people are like. What makes me very happy is that my brother traveled all the way to the end of the world just for my birthday. I'm very thankful to him for that!!! He is the best little brother one can imagine
