Hirtshals

Today morning we drove to Hirtshals. Our ferry to Norway will depart from here tomorrow. I never thought that the local campground would be so beautifully situated. A deluxe transit site, and we even managed to get the second-to-last spot in the front row 😁!

But even here, almost at the end of the world, there are grumpy Germans, like "place sheriffs". They can't believe that we "just like that" fill up water at the tap, don't need electricity, and even have cats, when logically Wuffi doesn't like cats! Outrageous 😂😂.

The campground is located directly above the cliff coast, the short walk up to the lighthouse was beautiful, I couldn't keep up with taking pictures.

Afterwards, Ingo explored some of the many bunkers of the Atlantic Wall on his own. The associated museum, however, was being renovated and closed (so typical for us 😂). I preferred to make myself comfortable with reading material in the camping chair, bunkers are not really my thing 😉

In the evening, we had a fantastic sunset. We couldn't be in a worse position, considering the view 🥂

Tomorrow I will check in from Kristiansand, Norway. 👋🏻
